Fara, if you go to Tab No. 7 which is called "Advanced Search", you will find quite a number of additional filter options. Unfortunately, spotted is not a standard option. You can e.g. try "striped" under "Bloom".

Is there any way to search the HMF database by characteristics? For example, I am on a hunt to obtain all known (and unknown) spotted roses. The best I can find is search by color. Am I missing something?
