The easiest way to include a photo in your message is simply to send it as an attachment to your message. Compose the text of your message, and then click on the button "Upload Attachment". A new window appears where you will be prompted to: "Add Image or Attachment". Here you can type a description for the attachment. Then you are told to click the "Brouse" button. This takes you to the hard drive of your computer where you can select the image file to be uploaded. The photo must be in .jpg or .gif format and must be less than 500 KB in file size. It should be no more than about 700 pixels wide or high. Then you must click the "Upload" button. There will be a pause as the image is uploaded to the HRF server. Some code will be appended to your message. In the "Post" window, you can move this code around any where in your message if you like. Here is a photo I just now uploaded.
Here is the text that was appended (with the first backslash removed so the photo does not appear twice in this message...but the code text does appear): popjpeg{186,B&W photo of damask "Bella Donna"} You can include more than one photo per post simply by clicking the "Upload Attachment" button again. I would advise putting a hard carriage return (hit the enter key) after each attachment code in the "Post" window. |
