Thanks Jeri.

I got some from them year before last, one of
them was 'Bouquet Parfait', a beautiful Lens
hybrid musk. Nice, healthy roses.

Like the Energizer Bunny of Rose Nurseries, Ralph Moore's Sequoia Nursery IS still in business.

I bring this up, because I heard earlier today that the Pacific Rose Society's monthly Bulletin (Southern California) had announced that Sequoia was closed, or closing.

NOT SO! This sort of news tends to spread like wildfire -- so I thought I'd set the record straight. I'll mention it in my Newsletters, too.

I hear, in fact, that ARS plans some parties and acknowledgements, to take place next January (2007) when Mr. Moore marks his 100th Birthday. I plan to be buying roses there, however, both before and after that event.
