Having a pretty good idea of what it takes to produce a rose publication, I did want to write and say that I am enjoying the latest issue of Rosa Mundi enormously and believe it is one of the finest publications in the rose world today. The editors, authors and HRF should very pleased with what has been brought forth.

Fabulous photographs and great articles. Rosa Mundi just gets better and better. My partner, Marji, grabbed it from the mailbox and slipped it into her backpack to take to work and read it first. When she fell asleep that night, I stole it back. Wow! It's been years since I read by flashlight. I have to find a way to make it to Texas.

Stephen, I know it is going to be lots of fun, I wish there were some way I could get free that week, and join in the merrymaking! Drat, it would be a great way to celebrate my birthday on the 11th... I seem to recall your birthday is during this time too? While you are out enjoying a lovely Texas October in the roses, think of me, a poor, pitiful slave to a job, unable to break out and join yall! (I am beginning to hear violins with my whining!)

Anyway, I just wanted to thank all of you for this edition of Rosa Mundi... it is superb!

I was handed a magnetic sticker with the conference dates and with the name Two Step in Texas. Two steps meaning the two different conventions. ARS and HRF. I noticed the add in the back of Rosa Mundi with only the dates of Oct 11-13 and it was called Deep in the Heart of Texas. Looks like HRF are not promoting the two conventions with using two different names right?

I received my copy in the mail this past week, and read it cover to cover last evening. Many thanks to all the contributors, and all those who worked in any capacity to bring it to us! Very good piece of work!
