I did find a Blue Magenta, but doubt it is the same rose. Thanks for your help! |

I could not find any records of a Gallica named 'Magenta', but there is a 'Maheca'. |

Does anyone know anything about this old gallica (?). I am NOT referring to the floribunda by Kordes. I saw a picture of it in a book about Sissinghurst, but most of my books only mention the Kordes rose. Nancy Steen mentions gallica named "Magenta" and her description seems to match the photo. Does anyone know of the old rose being in commerce in the USA? Thanks for any help. |
