Does it have that wonderful strawberry scent? Too bad that stand in the ditch isn't there anymore. Hopefully it will grow back. |

Everybody loves pictures, right? Rosa woodsii ultramonta, growing in a ditch in Hygiene, Colorado.
What's really curious is that last year, when we had a wet winter but a really dry spring, the flowers were a much darker color. I guess if conditions are bad they figure they have to try harder. And a plant grown from a sucker of this bunch.
